Charitable Trusts and Foundations

Charitable Trusts and Foundations

Charitable Trusts and Foundations make a vital difference to our work and have a pivotal role in helping UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation to deliver its mission to promote the relief and prevention of sickness and disease, and advance medical education.

We have a successful track record of Trust Fundraising and formed productive partnerships with major grantmakers during the Cancer Centre Appeal.  Significant support was given by the Wolfson Foundation who helped us to provide an MRI scanner at the Cancer Centre, the Kay Kendall Leukaemia Fund made a very substantial contribution towards the cost of the Haematology floor and the Garfield Weston Foundation made a very generous grant towards the general development of the Centre.  We were also fortunate to receive contributions from smaller Trusts, many of whom purchased items of equipment.  No matter how big or small the donations we receive, they all make a difference to the work of the hospital and the care and treatment of our patients.

The UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation is keen to build on existing and new partnerships with organisations that share our vision.  While flexible, unrestricted donations enable us to provide help where the need is greatest, we are committed to meeting the needs of our Trust supporters, and will be happy to work in partnership to identify suitable aspects of restricted funding and provide appropriate project details.  To see more about the projects we are currently fundraising for please click here.  Naming opportunities for significant projects exist, and we are happy to discuss long-term support, including funding spread over several years.

We will ensure that as partners, you receive quality and timely reports on a regular basis.  You will be kept informed and updated on how your contribution has been spent, and about the impact it is having on the lives of those patients that we care for.

If you are a Trustee, or have links with a Trust of Foundation for which you feel UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation is an appropriate beneficiary, we would be delighted to hear from you.
