Congratulations to our Royal Parks runners

Congratulations to our Royal Parks runners

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a scenic run that took place on Sunday 13th October through car free London streets and parks. It is a very popular run - this year over 20,000 people took part. We were delighted that Isabel Harrison, Liz Spice, and Hannah and Arvind Persaud chose to run on our behalf, raising much needed funds.

Hannah (pictured right) told us 'It was the first run of this distance that I'd done for a long time and training was a challenge, but the hard work paid off. The day before the run it rained hard, and the runners village was extremely muddy, but it did nothing to dampen the high spirits that everyone arrived with. The event is atmospheric with adrenaline running high, and crowds of spectators cheered us on along the route. It's a brilliant event that I'd like to do again for sure.'

Liz Spice (above) told us that she had 'a wonderful run through the parks and that the support was amazing.'

We have an incredible array of events lined up over 2020 including more places available for the Royal Parks Half next year. If you're interested in taking in part please contact Hannah Persaud for more information, these places are popular and quickly get taken. Thank you.
